I have worked in medicine for nearly 35 years. I started working at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington in 1986. I went on to earn a Bachelor in Science in Nursing at the University of Washington while working in Evergreen’s oncology units and critical care. I earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Practice at Seattle Pacific University while working in critical care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington as a charge nurse. I also earned a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University and certified through the NBCC. My Doctorate in Nursing Practice was earned through the University of Central Florida in 2015. I have a Masters in Business Administration through Strayer University. My Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing is through Maryville University and I am board certified for both the Masters in Nursing Science and Masters in Psychiatric Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

My work history includes critical care at Harborview Medical Center as a charge nurse, oncology and medicine as charge nurse at Evergreen Hospital in Washington. As a nurse practitioner, I have worked in busy urgent care centers and also with the homeless, also both in family practice and urgent care on a mobile unit in Central Florida while working with Healthcare for the Homeless. I worked as an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and mouth specialist) in Florida during this time, covering nearly 9 years. My family and I moved back to Washington in 2012. I have worked in urgent care and with tribal medicine as a nurse practitioner and family practice in community health. I have now transitioned to working fulltime in psychiatric medicine.

I have five children, three step-children, and my husband and I share twelve grandchildren. I enjoy creating all forms of art in my spare time. I am looking forward to caring for you and your family.
