Karol Ebio is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She obtained her Master's Degree in 2005 in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) and her Bachelor's Degree from St. Martin's University in 2001. Karol has spent over 10 years working in the community mental health system where she earned both her Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) and Mental Health Professional (MHP) designations.

Karol utilizes a client-centered approach to therapy, emphasizing the individual strength and resources of each client, in addition to a systemic theoretical focus, which is a theoretical orientation that acknowledges the complex interaction between individuals and their World around them. Karol utilizes a wide range of treatment approaches, choosing the most effective for the issue involved, which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), insight oriented therapy models, and narrative & experiential therapies. Karol primarily works from an experiential theoretical orientation, which emphasizes the importance of understanding, embracing, and coming to terms with one's feelings.

Karol works with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is paramount to change. Karol's areas of focus include depression, anxiety, stress, relationships/marriage, trauma, anger, communication issues, and life transitions.
